The Shelton Economic Development Corporation (SEDC), is a non profit corporation that focuses on the balanced development of the City of Shelton. The SEDC acts as a catalyst for growth within Shelton by providing direct links to all local government and business leaders, as well as coordinating between city and civic organizations. The SEDC has relationships with finance and development agencies, and provides a leadership role in emerging public/private and statewide partnerships. The SEDC provides access to a professional staff with extensive experience in economic development, real estate, construction, finance and government.

Canal Street Reconstruction and Related Improvements

Public review and comments are encouraged during the 21 day comment period that will begin on Thursday, May 31, 2012 at the SEDC offices.

 

Downtown Shelton Revitalization Program

The City of Shelton has a project for the Housatonic Riverwalk Phase II – State Project No. 126-163. Preliminary design has been completed and the project is slated for construction under the Surface Transportation Program administered by the Connecticut Department of Transportation.
