The Shelton Economic Development Corporation (SEDC), is a non profit corporation that focuses on the balanced development of the City of Shelton. The SEDC acts as a catalyst for growth within Shelton by providing direct links to all local government and business leaders, as well as coordinating between city and civic organizations. The SEDC has relationships with finance and development agencies, and provides a leadership role in emerging public/private and statewide partnerships. The SEDC provides access to a professional staff with extensive experience in economic development, real estate, construction, finance and government.

Public Notice


The community is invited to review and comment on draft plans for the remediation of several sites along Canal Street. A meeting is scheduled for Wed., July 21, 2010 at 7:30 pm at the SEDC offices.
